TRANSFER STUDENTS

Application Requirements, Process, Tuition & Fees Information

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS


  • Applicants must have completed their high school education
  • At least 17 years of age by the start of the program
  • Must have a basic understanding of the English language




DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS


All applicants must submit the following documents:

  • C.C.B. Application Form
  • C.C.B. Transfer Form
  • Available on website (see below) and hard copy available at school
  • Photocopy of Valid Passport ID Page 
  • For applicant and any F-2 dependents
  • Must clearly show picture, full name, birth date, and passport expiration date
  • Copy of I-94
  • For applicant and any F-2 dependents
  • Copy of F-1 Visa
  • For applicant and any F-2 dependents
  • For change of status, submit I-797 Notice of Action Form
  • Copy of current or most recent I-20 from school currently attending
  • For applicant and any F-2 dependents
  • Official Bank Statement or Bank Verification Letter
  • Must be less than 3 months old
  • Must be in English
  • Currency conversion to USD ($) is preferred
  • Must include the name of the owner of the funds
  • Must document a minimum balance of $5,000 U.S. Dollars
  • Additional $1,000 USD is required for each F-2 dependent included on the I-20




APPLICATION PROCESS


STEP 1 – C.C.B. Application

  1. Download a copy of our application form (see below).
  2. Fill out the application form.
  3. Submit the completed application by email, fax, or drop off in person.
  • Your application should be sent 8-10 weeks before the start of the session.

 


STEP 2 – Supplemental Document Requirements

  1. Gather supplemental document requirements:
  • Photocopy of the Passport ID page
  • Copy of I-94
  • Copy of F1 visa
  • Copy of current or most recent I-20
  • Official bank statement or bank verification letter

 2. Submit the documents by email, fax, or drop off in person.

  • Your documents should be sent 8-10 weeks before the start of the session.

 


STEP 3 – Payment

  • Submit payment of total tuition and fees (USD) by cash, check, debit card, or credit card.
  • Credit Card Payment: complete the Card Authorization Form (see below). Visa, MasterCard, or Discover are accepted. There is a 3% service fee for credit cards.

STEP 4 – Acceptance Letter

  • Once all documents have been received by the school and fees have been paid in full, we will issue the C.C.B. acceptance letter for the student.



Step 5 – Transfer Form

  1. Download a copy of our transfer form (see below).
  2. Fill out the transfer form.
  3. Submit the completed transfer form and C.C.B. acceptance letter to your current school.
  4. Once it has been confirmed that the student is admissible and eligible to transfer, the international advisor at the current school must release the student’s SEVIS record to C.C.B. Failure to complete the SEVIS transfer before the program start date will result in loss of admission.
  5. Upon the release of the student’s record in SEVIS, the student will receive a new I-20 issued by C.C.B.




CLASS SCHEDULE


There is one class per school session. There are 6 sessions per year and each session is 8 weeks.


Choice of a 2 Day or 4 Day schedule:


2 Day Schedule

  • Monday and Tuesday
  • 9 am – 6:30 pm
  • 9 hours each day for a total of 18 hours per week


4 Day Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • 9 am – 1:30 pm

4 hours and 30 minutes each day for a total of 18 hours per week



Academic Calendar

C.C.B. School of Atlanta is authorized by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to issue I-20s (Certificates of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status).
